Community members are welcome to participate in Hospice of Homer Bereavement Services:

    Home visits:
    Usually provided to families and caregivers who have used Hospice of Homer services previously.

    Phone Calls:
    Usually provided to families and caregivers who have used Hospice of Homer services previously.

    Hospice volunteers and staff provided one-on-one phone support.

    Monthly Mailings:
    Provided to participants from all parts of the community. Participating community members receive a monthly letter of encouragement that contains educational information about the grieving process. This is a thirteen month program.

    Support Groups
    Provided to participants from all parts of the community.

    Grief: How Do You Do It?
    Open to those suffering loss and experiencing bereavement.

    Ladies’ Gathering
    Usually for women who have experienced the loss of a husband and/or partner.

    Widower’s Circle of Friends
    For men who have experienced the loss of a wife and/or partner.

    Annual Remembrance Circle
    Open to the community to honor and remember loved ones.
